About Black Owl Arts
Christine
Having failed sewing and art at high school, Christine has since become a textile artist, sewing teacher, glass jewellery artisan and has dabbled in ceramics. In 2021 she became addicted to drawing and watercolour painting after attending classes at the Ballarat East Neighbourhood Centre. Prior to 2021 Christine considered herself incapable of drawing a straight line. As a historian, Christine is particularly interested in architectural art. Christine uses a generally quirky, playful and slightly left of centre artistic style as a way to approach detailed and meaningful pieces.
